10am to 5pm Woodbury Heights Community Center 741 Helen Ave Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097

What is GeekFest

Geekfest is a small/medium convention born and bred in Gloucester County New Jersey. After SIX very successful and fun shows at this location we are getting a huge show of support. We have had more than 10000+ attendees, volunteers, vendors and guests in three years with six amazing shows! We just want to bring folks together to appreciate their own version of geek. The floor will be divided into vendors and artists/game devs/youtube-web folk and some tournaments/open board game play.

Geekfest will have a huge selection of vendor tables for you at the event, please make sure you stop by and say hi to everyone.

Craigie Mack’s BBQ Shack, Adelaide’s Cakes, Kung Fu Hoagies and the Bean Bros will be supplying you with a wonderful selection of delicious food and drinks and desserts.

YoYo folks, Music, Wrestling, Larpers, SCA, Quidditch, Cosplay Kickball, what else could you possibly want?

Come be passionate about something Geeky with some new or old friends. No judgement here.

About US

Our goal is to put on a medium, one day convention in southern NJ to have some fun with our geeky interests. The word geek is a slang term originally used to describe eccentric or non-mainstream people, with different connotations ranging from “an expert or enthusiast” to “a person heavily interested in a hobby”, with a general pejorative meaning of “a peculiar or otherwise dis-likable person, especially one who is perceived to be overly intellectual”. Although often considered as a pejorative, the term is also used self-referentially without malice or as a source of pride. Its meaning has evolved to connote “someone who is interested in a subject (usually intellectual or complex) for its own sake.”
