March 12, 2020

The 2020 Editions of SJ GeekFest have officially been postponed until April 3, 2021 and October 23, 2021 due to concerns regarding the spread of the Covid-19 virus. It saddens our hearts but as most of you have probably guessed by now events are happening in a limited way which leads us to this announcement.
I would like to first apologize and thank Joseph Francis Kuzemka and the crew at Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market for leading the way in New Jersey and continually setting the best possible example in the event community. In no way did I ever mean to offend Joseph or the group at TPRFM by stealing their words I am both humbled and embarrassed that I caused any type of negativity and hope that they accept my humblest of apologies. For those of you who have not made it to a TPRFM you simply have to go, they are great shows and different every single time. I say they set the best possible example because they work they do is spectacular. Their next show is Oct 10-11 Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market: Halloween Market 2020
As all of you who have been in contact know this decision was not an easy one to come by. We have spent countless hours agonizing over what to do, attempted to make alternative locations, settings and versions of the show work to no avail. We do take pride in our event and are also super concerned for people’s safety in current conditions.
We would like to ask that all of you check out our vendors page ( ) and please take a moment and consider making an online purchase from them. We are all hurting in some way but a lot of our vendor friends are being beat up by Big Box stores and the impact the virus has had.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021 at the Woodbury Heights Community Center as we get back to business with nearly 200 local vendors, amazing food trucks, live music, outside larping and fun and so much more! In the meantime thank you all very much for the love, support and guidance you have given us.
Live Long and Prosper
